Forty four children from Year 4 had a tremendous trip on 12th January when they were part of the audience for a special schools’ concert performed by Worthing Symphony Orchestra. The children were treated to a mix of music including works by Grieg, Haydn and Strauss as well as The Teddy Bears’ Picnic, a Police Chase and the themes from The Pink Panther and ET.
The Assembly Hall was buzzing with excitement from over 800 school children (and a few adults!) as conductor John Gibbons led the orchestra through the exciting and dramatic tunes. The concert was provided free of charge to school children in Worthing by the orchestra in association with West Sussex Music.
