What are we looking forward to next term?
In January we applied to take part in a national scientific experiment, and we were chosen. We will be taking delivery of 100 rocket seeds after Easter. Not just any seeds though. These seeds have actually been into space with Tim Peake and recently returned with Commander Scott Kelly of NASA and Russian cosmonauts Mikhail Kornienko and Sergey Volkov of Roscosmos. They landed safely back on Earth in Kazakhstan and the seeds then travelled with Scott Kelly to NASA in Houston on a charter flight from Moscow, Russia and returned to the UK
We are very excited to be taking part in such an important experiment and will be logging our data, together with all of the other schools chosen, with the RHS.
Our new outside area is being constructed over the Easter break. We are all incredibly excited about our new sensory area and water zone. Look out for our blogs on the developments.
Activity week and Hindleap Residential
Our Year 6 pupils will be taking part in these events in May.We will blog these events as they happen.
