Yr2 Legacy Games

21  Jun  2018

On Tuesday 12th June all of our Yr2 children took part in the WSSA Yr2 Olympic Legacy Games. 500 children from six other local schools joined us on the Twitten field. After the opening ceremony, the children took part in a range of different sports and activities including Zumba, cricket, tri-golf and tennis. We also entered a team into the endball and shuttle relay competitions. Although both teams tried hard and behaved brilliantly there were no medals this time. The sun shone, the children had a brilliant time and the day was a fantastic success. Thank you to Ms Groves for organising the event, Mr Green for working with our endball team and to all the staff who helped make the day such a great experience for our children.
