Yr 3,4,5 and 6 Legacy Games

21  Jun  2018

On Wednesday 20th June, 64 Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children took part in the WSSA KS2 Olympic Legacy Games. Nearly 1000 children from other local schools joined us at Worthing Leisure Centre. After the opening ceremony, we entered teams in the handball, rounders, cricket, boccia and athletics events.

After a busy afternoon of competition, team work, goals, rounders and wickets we gathered to find out how we had done.

Well done to our Yr4 girls, Yr5 boys and Yr6 girls relay teams who made the finals and to Tia who made the Yr6 girls sprint final. Michael and Maisy won the Yr6 boys and girls vortex throw and Josh, Thomas and Zaid won the Boccia tournament. Thank you to Ms Groves for organising the event, Mr Green and Mr Bull for working with our athletics teams and to all the staff who came along and helped make the day such a brilliant one.
