Year 2 Legacy Games

17  Jun  2016

On Tuesday 14th June, Year 2 hosted and took part in the Worthing School Sport Association’s 2016 Olympic Legacy Games.

Over 400 children from 7 schools took part in a range of activities including football, tennis, tri-golf and Zumba. The sun shone, music played and the children had fun.

The event began with the traditional Olympic torch run and reading of an oath and culminated with the sprint relay - which we WON!! Well done Jack, Ewan, Oliver, Toby, Alice, Kiera, Tabitha and Rubie.

All of the children behaved brilliantly and had a fantastic time.

Thank you to all of the staff who supported the event and to Durrington Infant and Junior parents for their patience and support both hosting and collecting from the event.

The children would also like to thank our fantastic sports team: Mr Bull and Mrs Crabb who worked so hard to make it such a success!
