We're going on an Autumn Walk!

24  Nov  2016

The nursery children went for a walk around the school grounds last week. They were looking for signs of autumn.

We loved throwing the leaves into the air and waiting for them to fall on us.

Finding sticks is great fun!

We wondered whose houses these were.

We sang to our autumn song to the tree.

We looked at the garden and found some mushrooms growing. We wondered why there was a dead sunflower head.

We found some Brussel sprouts growing.

We were very excited to see the wind blowing the leaves all across the gate!

We couldn’t believe how tall the trees are!

We hugged the tree and felt the bark on the tree’s trunk.

How many people can fit around this old tree?
