Sporting Success

14  Feb  2017

On Monday 13th February, Team Durrington travelled to The Vale School to take part in the WSSA KS1 New Age Kurling Tournament.

The children were accompanied by Herbie and Joshua from year 3, who play in our KS2 team and were acting as captains.

We played against 11 other teams from 7 different schools in the Worthing area. After the group stages, Anna, Gino and Scott played West Park and Springfield. They beat both teams and finished 5th. While Harry and Toby, played a team from Palatine for the Trophy! It was a close game but the boys were victorious!!

A fantastic effort by all of the children involved, we’re very proud of you. Thank you to Mr Bull for preparing the team so well and to Mrs Jeffrey-Norton and Mrs Saunders for your support. A special shout out to Ms Hooper who provided the live twitter feed from the event.
