Science week has got off to an awesome start! Sublime Science arrived ready to rock with five amazing workshops. In the photos Graphite class are making slime and sherbet (not mixed). Teia's face speaks a thousand words about the effectiveness of the sherbet!
Heron and Swan class got busy in the wildlife area this afternoon. They took part in pond dipping, bug hunting and tree identification. They found a frog and a smooth newt in the pond as well as many other insects both in and out of the pond. Willow class have been making salt crystal snowflakes, whilst Oak class made a non-Newtonian fluid by mixing cornflour and water. Many other scientific activities have been taking place across the school and by the end of the week, all children from year 1 to year 6 will have met the Sublime scientists.
