The fun started today as soon as the gates were opened, with a maths challenge on each playground.
We have seen some amazing maths hats and the day will be filled with math related actvitites to prove how much we love maths!
Thank you to everyone who donated or bought a cake at our charity cake sale last week.
The school council organised the sale and we were raising money for CLIC Sargent, helped by Joseph and his mum, who have been helped by this charity recently. For more information, check out their website: www.clicsargent.org.uk
We are very pleased to announce that we raised the grand total of £600.37 which will enable CLIC Sargent to do more of their valuable work.
Before the snow melted, everyone went out to have some fun.
Here are some photos from the Twitten Field where years 3 and 4 played. You may still be able to see some of the snowmen when you do the school run later.
Junior School rocked out in their first ever Times Table Rock Stars celebration assembly on Friday! We have 13 Rock Legends so far with times less than 1.5 sec per question! Huge congratulations to Swan Class who were best in school with a 5.6 second average as well as runners-up Graphite with a 7.1 second average.
Well done to all who took home awards - Rock On!
This month the school council launched a competition for all the children to design an ‘anti-bullying poster’.
Entries need to be A4 in size, have a catchy title and be eye catching and colourful.Useful tips can be found in the anti-bullying booklets that were sent home last year and are displayed in every classroom (copies are also available in the office if you need one).
Winners will be chosen by the school council and displayed around the school.
We cannot wait to see your designs!
