You can also find out what your class has been up to on the newsfeed in the Weduc app.
For World Book Day children have made posters, created their own book scene and turned potatoes into characters! We have had special assemblies and have done lots of wonderful book activities all day.
Thank you for all of your beautiful entries in our ‘design an outfit for Pudsey’ competition. It was a very hard decision to pick the ones we liked best.
Congratulations to our winners, Sienna (Infants) and Robyn (Juniors)
Well done too to our runners up Jenson, Sophia, Georgia and Soraya.
We have had lots of fun today dressing up for BBC Children in Need. In total we have raised over £800 this week! Thank you for all the support.
With only eight months until the 2020 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, Miss Hooper has challenged the children to 'Travel to Tokyo'.
As part of the children's thirty minutes of physical activity per day the staff and children will log how far they run, hop, skip or jump and then, as a school, we will see if we can make it the 8,149 miles or 13,114,544 metres to get us to Tokyo!
Each half term we will up date you on our journey.
We launched our new currency this week and our bank and shop are now open for business!
Children in years 1 to 6 have been given the opportunity to earn 'Durrington Dosh' for showing consistent green behaviour in school (Reception children will start this after Christmas).
Any money earned can be saved in the bank or spent in the Durrington Allsorts Shop, where prices start from 3dd.
Lots of children have already opened bank accounts and we cannot wait to see who will be the first customer in the shop.
