On Wednesday, following on from the KS1 kurling team’s success at Monday’s inter school competition, it was time for their captains, Herbie and Joshua to join their own teammates to take part in the KS2 kurling event.
We played host to the competition in the Junior Hall and teams from many other Worthing schools came to take part.
Competition was tough, but our two teams played well and we finished with third place for our red team and a fabulous first place for our blue team.
Well done to Herbie, Dexter and Zaid from red team and Joshua, Hollie and Charlie from the blues.
Thank you to the year 6 legacy leaders who helped with the refereeing for the event and to all of the adults who helped run the competition and worked so hard with the teams during training. A special ‘thanks’ to the team coach, Mr Bull, and to Ms Hooper for some more fantastic live tweeting from the hall.
