Education 4 Safeguarding (E4S)

At Durrington Infant and Junior School our aim is that all pupils will gain the knowledge and understanding to lead confident, healthy and independent lives in today’s ever-changing society.  By teaching the children the four corner stones of the Education for Safeguarding (E4S) curriculum (Relationships and Sex Education, Digital Media, Physical Health and Wellbeing and Emotional Health and Wellbeing) we ensure all the RSHE expectations are met.  Through our provision, our children will be well equipped with the belief in themselves to make informed decisions about their life choices and how they impact their own and others’ lives.  By enabling our children to develop their own skills, knowledge and understanding of themselves and the world around them we believe we are giving them the best chance for their future.
