Welcome to Little Rainbow Nursery

Little Rainbow Nursery provides an exciting, child - centred, personal learning experience with many opportunities for real and first - hand experiences.

The Nursery is run by Miss Edwards (Teacher), along with her team of support staff.

We work to support your children in all seven areas of the early years’ foundation stage curriculum.  These areas are physical, personal, social and emotional, communication and language, expressive arts and design, understanding the world and mathematical. All areas are seen, and treated as equally important to the learning development of your child.  

Our nursery provision offers children exciting and engaging activities to build upon their existing knowledge, and provides them with problem solving opportunities and challenge. Children’s interests underpin our planning and daily provision so that the children can fully immerse themselves in their learning. We place great value on play, acknowledging that this is the means by which young children learn and we also recognise the importance of learning both inside and outdoors.

We understand that we might be the first setting your child experiences away from home and we strive to ensure that your child’s time at nursery is happy and safe. We work hard to build strong and supportive relationships with our parents and carers and we understand the importance of us working together for our children.

Nursery Places

Your child is entitled to 15 hours of FREE nursery education, and for some families this may be 30 FREE hours.  We offer places for children from their third birthday.  If you are interested please contact the school.
