Year 6

Aztec Day 2016

21  Mar  2016

We hope that all of Year 6 enjoyed their Aztec Day on Friday!

We made clay masks; to celebrate the 'Day of the Dead', handsome headdresses to wear, sacrificial shields through graphic, isometric design and even investigated how their temples were made in Science! We finished our day drinking traditional hot chocolate (chilli, vanilla and cinnamon flavoured) with a little help from Cadburys (although many other drinking-chocolate brands are now available!).

Hopefully you will see some colourful artefacts making their way home very soon...
