We survived the first night. The adults were woken up, not by the cacophony of birds singing their early morning songs in the tree tops, but by the chatter of excited 8 and 9 year olds ready for a day filled with excitement and adventure.
A big breakfast has been eaten and the groups have made their way down to their first activities. Last year, there were so many great stories of children overcoming fears and stepping out of their comfort zone. We look forward to many more stories like that this week.
