Year 4

Lodge Hill - Day 2

08  Mar  2018

After another round of toast and cereal for breakfast, today, we took part in all our adventurous activities! We zoomed down the hill snow tubing, hurtled round the go-kart track and sharpened our aim at the archery range.

Toni drifted round corners and showed no fear at the go-karts, even the instructors said she was crazy! All of Year 4 showed teamwork and endurance during snow tubing by helping each other up a very steep hill and we saw a record amount of bulls-eyes at the archery range.

In the evening, children successfully showed their tidying prowess during the dreaded room inspection. As a reward, we had a hearty beef stew for dinner.

Before lights out, we ventured in to the woods for a campfire and a sing a long lead by Mr Jenkins. We sang loud and proud and went to bed with brilliant memories!

Home time tomorrow!

“These children are the politest I’ve ever served” Lodge Hill kitchen staff

“This is the best school trip I’ve ever been on!” Kaycee

“The go-karting was epic!” Toni
