Literary Festival

13  Jul  2016

On 9th June, Year 6 pupils from several local schools, including Durrington Juniors, attended the first Literary festival at Durrington High School.

The author Tom Palmer presented his books and talked about how he became inspired to be a writer, despite being lousy at spellings! The children then spent time playing word games and writing a short passage filled with suspense and intrigue! These are going to be published by the High School for the children to receive when they start in September.
