Another busy, but exciting week in Reception! As part of our topic ‘ People Who Help Us’, we have had another visitor to come and talk to us about their job!

Mr. Conway is a Postman and a daddy in our school , he very kindly came to visit us and answered all the questions we wanted to ask him!  You wouldn’t believe that just posting a letter would mean such a long process!

In school we have been learning about what happens to a letter when it’s posted and the journey it has to make! We have written a letter in school to our families, put it in an envelope, made sure our address is on the front and put a stamp on it.

Together we all walked to the post box at the end of the road and posted them in the letter box! Such good fun and so exciting!

Thank you for coming to visit us Mr. Conway and to all the helpers who came to keep us safe on our walk.
